EARLY PRATT WARE BABE IN CRADLE

Wide awake babe in cap and swaddling clothes lies nice and snug under a coverlet of styalized leaves with crimped and blue sponged edge.  Cradle is blue sponged all over.  Colours typical Prattware blue, brown and green underglaze.  Condition is excellent, hood of cradle has been restored at some time as have the rockers....not our restoration but very well done.  Crimped edge of coverlet has some minute edge nibbles...display is perfect.  A super and unusual addition to your collection.  Yorkshire or Staffordshire.

Length 4 1/2 inch x Height 4 inch.  Circa 1820.
